Online poker has become world famous as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years numerous variants on the first poker game have been created, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling 21 than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little conniving or other kinds of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up before the dealer broadcasting "No further wagers." At that point, both you and the house and of course all of the other gamblers attain five cards each. Once you have observed your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you have to either make a call bet or give up. The call wager’s value is equal to your beginning wager, meaning that the stakes will have doubled. Surrendering means that your bet goes immediately to the dealer. After the bet comes the face off. If the dealer does not have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, with an amount in accordance with the original bet. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The casino pays chips equal to your wager and set expectations on your call bet. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for 2 pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
