Web poker has become world acclaimed as of late, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years many types on the first poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling vingt-et-un than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the dealer instead of each other. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little concealment or different types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the dealer announcing "No further bets." At that point, both you and the casino and of course all of the different players receive 5 cards. Once you have observed your hand and the casino’s initial card, you need to in turn make a call bet or accede. The call wager’s amount is akin to your original ante, meaning that the stakes will have doubled. Giving Up means that your bet goes immediately to the house. After the bet is the conclusion. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is returned, with an amount in accordance with the initial wager. If the bank does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The bank pays cash equal to your initial bet and set odds on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
