Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old origins. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the western in an awesome game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player versus the casino, not like almost all other poker games that gamblers wager against other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, beginning players don’t have to be concerned about any other, more knowledgeable gamblers taking their cash.

An additional Pai Gow advantage is the generally leisurely game play, rookies will be able to take their time and plan while not having to make quick selections.

It’s also easier to wager on for a very long time with only a tiny bit of money since, to not win, each of your hands must be lower than both of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards face up and the dealer is given 7 cards face down.

A 5 card hand and a 2 card hand must be made from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the casino’s.
