Internet poker has become world celebrated recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back in reality a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years numerous variants on the earliest poker game have been developed, including some games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the players bet against the bank rather than each other. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no concealment or different types of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up before the dealer announcing "No more bets." At that instance, both you and the house and of course every one of the other players acquire 5 cards each. Once you have observed your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you need to in turn make a call bet or surrender. The call wager’s amount is equal to your original bet, meaning that the risks will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your wager goes instantaneously to the casino. After the bet comes the showdown. If the casino does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, including a figure on par with the original wager. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The house pony’s up chips even with your wager and set expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
