Pai Gow Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Based on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the far east with the wild west in a great game for new players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the casino, not like nearly all other poker games that gamblers wager with other players. By competing against the dealer, beginner players do not have to fret about other, more knowledgeable players winning their mulla.
One more Pai Gow edge is the relatively slow game play, rookies will be able to take their time and plan without having to make frenzied selections.
It is also simpler to play for an extended time with only a tiny bit of money after all, to not win, each of your hands must be lower than both of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The player is given 7 cards faces showing and the dealer is given seven cards faces hidden.
A five card hand and a 2 card hand have to be made from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be better than the dealer’s.
