Ah, the tilt. If a poker player states at no time to have stared faced over the barrel of a looming tilt – they are either lying or they haven’t been betting for a long time. This doesn’t infer of course that every player has gone on tilt in the past, some people have wonderful control and take their losses as a defeat and keep it at that. To be a strong poker player, it is especially important to treat your successes and your defeats in the same way – with little emotion. You’ve burned eighty dollars in a hand where you were certain to pick up $200two hundred dollars when you went all-in on the flop and enjoyed a ten to one edge. And that amateur! He sucked you out on the river? – Well hold it right there. This is a quintessential choice for a brand-new player to begin tilting. They basically blew too much cash on one hand that they should have won and they’re agitated
