Poker has become world celebrated as of late, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, arcs back quite a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years numerous types on the first poker game have been created, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling chemin de fer than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the casino rather than each other. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no bluffing or different kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up before the croupier broadcasting "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course all of the different gamblers are given five cards each. After you have seen your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you have to in turn make a call bet or bow out. The call bet’s value is equal to your beginning bet, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your wager goes directly to the casino. After the bet comes the conclusion. If the house does not have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, with an amount equal to the initial wager. If the casino does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand defeats the dealer’s hand. The casino pony’s up cash equal to your wager and controlled odds on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
