Some poker techniques will amaze you with their simplicity. This is sample. Jot down your results, every time you wager.

Thou must record thy wins and thy loses; for it’s the total of all a mans accomplishments which develop his/her bottom line.
How accurate is your decision. I usually believe that hourly specifics and that style of personal information is not needed. Simply figure out how far ahead you are and how much (if any) you’ve withdrawn. Of course, if you don’t win, note that too, regardless of how much it hurts.
Do not neglect to record what style of poker you’re wagering on, if that’s critical to you. (In my experience, most players keep to what they know and don’t try something they do not know. If all you do is keep winnings, loses and what you’ve taken out, you’re way in front of almost all players around!)
Provide yourself actual goals, like a ‘dream’ target (new car, holiday or whatever). When you take out, add the money taken out to your dream counter. The greater the success you have, the nearer that goal will get!
